People of Print® Verified Membership is designed to support creatives, studios and organisations working across print, design, illustration and visual culture.
Rather than functioning as a traditional membership club, POP Members gain access to an ongoing platform for visibility, storytelling and connection within a global creative audience.
Members become part of a curated network of designers, illustrators, printmakers, studios, publishers and brands who are shaping contemporary visual culture.
Our role is simple: to help amplify the work of our members and support the creative community around print and design.
What People of Print Membership is.
People of Print Membership provides creatives and organisations with a platform to share their work, promote projects and connect with a wider creative audience.
Members use the platform to:
• present their work through a professional public profile (in redevelopment)
• publish projects and updates throughout the year
• promote exhibitions, launches and collaborations
• gain visibility through the People of Print ecosystem and channels
• connect with other creatives and organisations
The platform sits at the intersection of publishing, community and creative collaboration.
Membership exists to help individuals, SMEs, organisations and brands stay visible, share their work, products & services and build meaningful connections within the industry.
What membership
is not.
People of Print Membership does not function as a pay-to-publish platform.
All content published on peopleofprint.com is reviewed by the editorial team before going live. This ensures the platform maintains the quality and reputation it has built over many years.
Membership instead provides guaranteed opportunities to publish work throughout the year, depending on the membership tier.
Each submission is reviewed, verified then fully written by our editorial team before publication to ensure it fits the standards and tone of the platform.
This balance allows members to regularly share their work while maintaining the editorial integrity of People of Print.
Who membership
is for.
People of Print Membership is open to creatives and organisations working across visual communication.
This includes:
• graphic designers
• illustrators
• printmakers
• design studios and agencies
• publishers
• print businesses
• creative organisations
• brands working with design and visual culture
Although print remains at the heart of the platform, the community reflects the broader creative ecosystem where print, design, illustration, publishing and visual culture intersect.
What members receive
Membership provides several ways for creatives and organisations to share their work and maintain an active presence within the People of Print ecosystem.
Member profile
Members receive a dedicated profile within the People of Print member directory.
NOTE: Currently in a full rebuild with Automattic Special Projects,
due Summer 2026.
This profile acts as a permanent reference point for your work or organisation and can include:
• biography or studio description
• portfolio images
• links to projects and articles
• website and social links
• contact information
This allows the People of Print audience to discover and connect directly with members.
Publishing and promotion
One of the core benefits of People of Print Membership is the ability to share work through the platform on an ongoing basis.
Members can submit projects, news and updates throughout the year which are reviewed by the editorial team before publication.
Depending on the membership tier, members receive multiple opportunities per year to publish articles on peopleofprint.com
These articles can highlight:
• new projects
• exhibitions
• collaborations
• product launches
• studio updates
• creative research or process
Each submission is checked and edited by the People of Print editorial team before publication to maintain the platform’s quality.
Once published, articles become part of the People of Print archive and can be discovered by readers, shared by members and indexed by search engines indefinitely. This creates long-term visibility for the work.
Opportunities and collaborations
People of Print regularly develops projects, campaigns and collaborations with creative organisations and brands.
Members may occasionally be invited to participate in:
• creative open calls
• exhibitions and events
• collaborative projects
• editorial features
• brand campaigns
These opportunities allow members to connect with the wider creative industry and participate in projects beyond their own studio practice.
Community and connections
Membership also connects creatives within the wider People of Print network.
Over the years the platform has grown into a global community of designers, illustrators, studios and organisations who share a passion for print and visual culture.
Members will also have access to the People of Print Community, a dedicated space where creatives can connect, start discussions, share ideas and support each other’s work (COMING SOON).
Projects published on peopleofprint.com can also receive comments and feedback from the community, allowing members to engage in conversations around their work and build stronger connections with other creatives.
Many collaborations, introductions and partnerships naturally emerge through these interactions and through the wider People of Print network.
How members typically use People of Print
Members often use the platform as an ongoing way to share important moments in their creative practice or company initiative.
For example, a member might publish articles across the year when they:
• release a new body of work
• launch a product or print edition
• announce an exhibition or event
• share a collaboration with another studio or brand
• document a project or creative process
Over time these articles create a public archive of work and projects, helping members build a stronger online presence and portfolio of published work.
The next chapter of People of Print
People of Print is currently undergoing the most significant platform development in its history.
Since early 2025 we have been working with Automattic Special Projects, the team behind WordPress.com and WooCommerce, on a full rebuild of the People of Print ecosystem.
This new platform will bring together publishing, membership, community, profiles and creative projects into one unified home.
For members, this will create a much more powerful and useful platform.
Upcoming improvements include:
• redesigned member profiles and directories
• improved tools for publishing projects and updates
• community features for discussion and collaboration
• stronger connections between editorial content and member work
• better discovery across articles, members and projects
This development represents a major step forward for People of Print and reflects our long-term commitment to building a sustainable platform for the creative community.
Members joining today will be part of this next chapter as the platform evolves.
Supporting People of Print
Membership also helps support the wider work of People of Print.
Membership fees contribute directly to maintaining the editorial platform, producing publications, running projects and supporting the creative community around print and design.
In this sense, members are not only promoting their own work, they are also helping sustain a platform dedicated to celebrating creativity in visual culture.
